To ensure strong representation for employers across Greenland, Greenland Business has established a network of local associations throughout the country. These local associations play a vital role in supporting the work and mission of the national organisation on behalf of Greenlandic employers and businesses. Any town with at least five member companies may establish a local association.
When you become a member of Greenland Business, you automatically become a member of the local association in your town or region. Your local employers' association represents and promotes the interests of Greenlandic employers at the local level. By getting involved, you can help create growth and better conditions for businesses in your community and across Greenland.
Local associations exist to represent employers' interests within their communities. Membership provides a stronger collective voice, greater opportunities to influence political decision-making, increased visibility, and the advantages of belonging to a strong business organisation.
Your company also gains access to advice and practical support on a wide range of business matters. With a team of specialists based at the Secretariat in Nuuk, together with cooperation agreements with similar organisations and industry associations in Denmark, Greenland Business offers broad expertise and professional guidance across many areas relevant to employers and businesses.

If you have questions or need advice or guidance, we encourage you to contact your local chairperson. They are supported by the national organisation, which is ready to assist whenever additional expertise is needed.
The level of activity varies from one local association to another. As a member, we encourage you to keep your contact details up to date. You will regularly receive information from both your local association and the national organisation, including newsletters and invitations to events.
You can obtain a copy of your local association's Articles of Association from your local chairperson or by contacting the Secretariat in Nuuk.
Please note that notices of Annual General Meetings are distributed by email only. It is therefore important to keep your contact information up to date.
Each local association is managed by a board elected annually by its members at the Annual General Meeting.
Each local association focuses on issues that are particularly important to its own community, as projects and priorities differ across Greenland's towns and regions. Contact your local chairperson to learn more about the initiatives and activities in your area.
