Would You Like to Help Document Defining Moments When They Happen?

DR is Looking for Participants for a Unique Documentary Project – Including in Greenland

DR and Mastiff TV in Denmark are currently building a network of participants for a new and ambitious documentary project. The project also includes Greenland, and we therefore encourage members of the Greenland Business Association to consider participating or sharing this opportunity within your network.

DR and Mastiff TV describe the project as follows:

For a documentary project, we are looking for people from across Denmark and Greenland—professionals, volunteers, and members of the public—who, in their own way, will play a role when our communities are put to the test.

DR and Mastiff TV are currently assembling a network of participants who are ready to document their personal experiences when significant and unexpected events affect our society.

The unique aspect of this project is that we do not know where or when the next major event will occur—but we want to be ready when it does.

Through your own recordings, we invite you to share the perspectives, decisions, and dilemmas that arise when the responsibilities of family life and work collide. When everyday life suddenly comes to a halt, and a defining event changes everything.

For this documentary project, we are seeking people from Denmark and Greenland—professionals, volunteers, and citizens—who, each in their own way, will play a role when society is put to the test.

If you would like to share your perspective and be part of a project about courage, responsibility, and solidarity, we would love to hear from you.

What Is the Project About?

The project will consist of a network of 100 participants. As part of the cast, you will—where circumstances allow—tell your story using a camera before, during, and after a defining event of major national significance.

Through self-filming—and, where appropriate, with support from a professional TV crew—you will document your own experiences, thoughts, and decisions during the hours and days as the situation unfolds.

No previous filming experience is required. We will provide workshops, guidance, and equipment so that you feel confident documenting your everyday life when it matters most.

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for people who step forward when everyday life is disrupted. This may be through your profession, your responsibility and care for others, your engagement in your local community, or your ability to bring people together when it matters. We welcome everyone from specialised professionals to local volunteers.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and interested in taking part in this documentary project, which aims to capture people's experiences up close during extraordinary circumstances.

Please tell us a little about yourself—and why you would like to participate—and send your application to: dage@mastifftv.dk

The Greenland Business Association wishes all interested applicants the very best of luck!
