Greenland Business Association announces that Chair of the Board Krissie Berthelsen Winberg has decided to step down from the Board at her own request. The decision follows increased activity in her own business and her wish to ensure that the position of Chair of the Board receives the necessary attention and priority.
In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Board has unanimously appointed Jens Peter Pars as Acting Chair of the Board. The Board would also like to thank Krissie Berthelsen Winberg for her contribution to the organisation.
Acting Chair of the Board Jens Peter Pars states:
“Throughout her time with Greenland Business Association, Krissie has demonstrated a strong commitment to the organisation’s work and development. Among other things, she has contributed to a constructive dialogue with Naalakkersuisut, the Government of Greenland. On behalf of the Board and the Association, I would like to thank her for her significant contribution. We wish her all the best for the future.”
Krissie Berthelsen Winberg will continue her involvement with Greenland Business Association through her work on the organisation’s sector committee for hotels and restaurants.
Greenland Business Association’s work on behalf of its members and for the development of the business community in Greenland will continue unchanged.
