DISABILITY CAN LEAD TO A STRONG BOTTOM LINE<\/p>\n\n
Many individuals with disabilities remain outside the labor market in both Denmark and Greenland. Why is this the case? <\/p>\n\n
On Tuesday the 23rd of April<\/strong>, GBA will host a meeting in collaboration with Nossell & Co, where entrepreneur Jacob Nossell, who lives with a disability himself, will share his experiences on how people with disabilities can enter the labor market and contribute to a strong bottom line.<\/p>\n\n The challenge is often that companies and organizations are not equipped and ready to hire people with disabilities. Due to the lack of employability, both the Greenlandic and Danish business sectors miss out on too many qualified and skilled employees. <\/p>\n\n Therefore, we need to educate companies and organizations and equip them to hire people with various disabilities. This upgrading can be done by integrating a more flexible workplace, focusing on Universal Design and inclusiveness.
